RPC stands for Remote Procedure Calls.

A remote procedure call (RPC) is when a computer program causes a procedure (subroutine) to execute in a different address space (commonly on another computer on a shared network), which is coded as if it were a normal (local) procedure call.

Okcash RPC is synonymous with JSON-RPC in some users opinion, although JSON-RPC itself is not Okcash-specific. JSON-RPC simply implies that the RPC interaction will use JSON as its data structure.

Okcash RPC is used by authenticated clients to connect to a running instance of okcashd.

The clients issue commands to send transactions, get status, and a variety of other purposes.

You can find direct links to the RPC docs over the Documentation website: https://okcash.org and over the Resources website at: https://okcash.io
